This comprehensive Manicure and Pedicure Training Course is designed to provide students with a strong professional foundation in nail care services for both hands and feet. The program combines essential theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training to ensure students develop the skills, confidence, and hygiene standards required in professional spa, salon, and clinical settings.
Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the nails, hands, and feet, including nail structure, growth cycles, and common nail disorders and conditions. Emphasis is placed on recognizing contraindications and understanding when services should be modified or declined to ensure client safety and professional responsibility.
A major component of the course focuses on sanitation, disinfection, and infection control, in accordance with industry and public health standards. Students will learn proper cleaning, disinfection, and storage of tools and equipment, personal hygiene practices, workstation setup, and prevention of cross-contamination to maintain a safe and professional working environment.
The program provides detailed instruction on the professional use of manicure and pedicure tools, implements, and products, including electric and manual files, cuticle care tools, exfoliation products, masks, and massage techniques. Students will be trained in both wet and dry manicure and pedicure techniques, following step-by-step service protocols to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
In addition to basic nail care services, students will be introduced to Acrylic and Bio Gel Nail Extensions, learning proper preparation, application, shaping, blending, maintenance, and safe removal techniques. The course also covers Shellac (gel polish) and traditional nail polish application, including nail preparation, flawless polish techniques, curing processes, longevity, and aftercare recommendations.
Upon completion of this course, students will be equipped with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional standards necessary to confidently perform manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancement services in a salon or spa environment, while delivering safe, hygienic, and client-focused care.
