The Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program is a registered vocational program under the Ontario Career Colleges and Universities Act, 2005, and is offered by Health and Beauty Canadian College (HBCC). This comprehensive program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in retail, hospital, and institutional pharmacy environments.
The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining online theoretical instruction with supervised, hands-on laboratory training on campus. This blended approach ensures students develop both the academic knowledge and practical skills required to support pharmacy operations in real-world healthcare settings.
Students can complete the program in approximately six to seven months, providing a fast-track pathway into the healthcare workforce.
This program is designed to meet the evolving needs of Ontario’s pharmacy sector and provides students with the practical, technical, and professional competencies required to effectively support licensed pharmacists in the safe preparation, handling, and distribution of medications.

Through HBCC’s hybrid delivery model, students benefit from the flexibility of online learning while developing practical skills in a fully equipped pharmacy lab.
