Skincare Therapy (Esthetics Foundation)

The Skincare Therapy (Esthetics Foundation) course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and professional foundation in skin science and advanced esthetic practices. This program integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on training, ensuring graduates are well prepared to perform safe, effective, and results-driven skincare treatments in clinical and spa environments.

Students begin with a strong grounding in general sciences related to esthetics, including sanitation and disinfection standards, health and safety protocols, anatomy and physiology, cosmetic chemistry, and the fundamentals of electricity as applied to esthetic devices such as galvanic current. Emphasis is placed on infection control, workplace safety, and professional ethics in compliance with industry standards.

A major component of the course focuses on skin science and analysis. Students gain in-depth knowledge of the physiology and histology of the skin, common skin disorders and diseases, and accurate analysis of all skin types and conditions. Learners also study skincare products in detail, including active ingredients, formulations, contraindications, and proper product selection to create customized treatment plans for diverse client needs.

The program provides extensive training in professional facial treatments. Students learn and practice facial massage techniques, acne therapy protocols, chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, and hydrodermabrasion. Several types of facials are covered, ranging from classic and deep-cleansing facials to advanced corrective and rejuvenation treatments, with a strong focus on client consultation and treatment customization.

In addition, students are trained to safely and effectively incorporate esthetic machines into facial services. Instruction includes proper operation, indications, contraindications, and integration of devices to enhance treatment outcomes. The course also covers treatment room setup, client preparation, post-treatment care, and professional workflow to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Upon completion, students will possess the knowledge, technical skills, and professional confidence required to deliver high-quality skincare services and pursue employment or further specialization within the esthetics and medical aesthetics industry.
